Take A Walk With Me

Today I take you with me on a trip to the BRAND NEW Wal-Mart in a BRAND NEW plaza to buy some groceries. Shopping is not something I like to do but grocery shopping is something that needs to be done, if one wants to eat.:)
It is one of the small neighborhood Wal-Marts. I really don't like the large Wal-Marts. They are TOOOO big. I go to Wal-Mart only when I need things that Publix does not carry that I might need.
These 2 grocery stores are across from each other. I am dying to know what other retail stores will be going into the new Wal-Mart Plaza. Our town of North Port, Florida is growing leaps and bounds. We love it here. It is in a perfect location in Southwest Florida between 2 main highways...so it's easy to get to where we need to go.
You also will go for a walk with us and our dog, Cookie. Cookie is an almost 11 year old Chihuahua who normally doesn't like to walk but got jealous when he overheard we were taking Marvel for a walk...so we walked Cookie first.
The sun was shinging today and it always lifts our spirits. It is rare to rain in the winter here in Southwest Florida but it's been raining cats and dogs all winter. Hopeflly, hurricane season won't be bad. We've been lucky since we moved to Florida from Ohio 6 years ago in not getting hit by any hurricanes. We did get a tropical storm and that was scarey enough.
